Framedrumseurope is glad to annouce the Italian Tamburello workshop by Andrea Piccioni on October, 29 and 30 in Andratx, Mallorca.
The workshop will focus on Italian Tamburello techniques, rhythms and styles. One of the most interesting jingled drums with more then 6000 years of history
Andrea Piccioni is a recognized master of the many different playing styles used throughout Italy and also developed modern techniques thanks to which the italian tamburello has been introduced in modern music contexts.
The Italian Tamburello workshop will take place in Andratx, Mallorca at Sa Taronja Cultural Association

On September 17/18th the DRUMFACTORY-SCHOOL is going to open their new seminar rooms with a fully packed 2 day workshop for ambitious drummers.
Jojo Mayer has been venturing into New York's Techno / Multimedia / Avantgarde / club scene by promoting his own weekly party event called PROHIBITED BEATZ. This platform for live "Drum n" Bass", "Nu-Skool Breaks", "Speed Garage" and the latest stylistical hybrids and mutations in DJ culture, has also provided the back drop for his project called NERVE. Besides that, Jojo has also built himself a reputation as a skilled and creative clinician. He is going to teach 2 master classes "Concepts of Playing" on September 17/18 th. There will also be offered "Rudimental Training" master classes by Benny Greb (Jerobeam), who is THE shooting-star among young drummers in Germany and a teacher at Hamburg School of Music, on September 17/18 th. Dirk Brand is a well-know author of textbooks for drummers, e.g. "1000 faces of drumstyles" or "Chart Reading", and he is also a teacher at the Modern Music School Oelde. On September 17th he is going to teach a "Chart Reading" master class. Rossi Roßberg (17/18 th) who is the drum-tech for Christoph Schneider of Rammstein, is going to teach a clinic about "Drum-Tech". It includes topics like tuning, functioning of the hi-hat machine, microphoning and so on. The New York drummer Tobias Ralph is working for Bands like Defunkt, Duncan Sheik and he is a teacher at the Drummer´s Collective School. Besides that he worked for Billy Joel´s Musical "Movin´ Out" and Bands like Everlast and Nena. He is going to teach two "Fills" master classes on September 17/18 th.
The teachers of the Drumfactory-School will offer clinics in polymetric/odd metres, latin drumming and body percussion on both days.

Frame Drums Europe is happy to announce the complete program for EFDM 2006.
It will take place from May 4 - 7, 2006 in Sant Pere de Ribes, a country town near Sitges and Barcelona. All participants will live together 4 days in a XVIth century country house (Can Ramonet).
